KNNCCB tsunami hitting Singapore on 22 July.. yeah right

Die already, someone predicted tsunami going to hit singapore on 22 July, what are we going to do? Haven’t our highly capable government already issue us all the necessary disaster relieve kit and safety instructions?

That was a hoax.

Those who say got tsunami, maybe you can find it by shaking your water bottle. Channel News Asia already picked up the story on 15 April revealing it as a hoax email, yet there are people still posting on Ping.sg today, warning people of the upcoming tsunami and hoping to gain some traffic along the way.

Youngsters nowadays need to read some real news.

Professor Kerry Sieh, director, Earth Observatory of Singapore, said: “In the last 110 years or so, there have been about 85 really big earthquakes – 8 (on the Richter magnitude scale) or greater. And only two of those occurred on the same day as an eclipse. And even those were a partial eclipse, not a total eclipse. They happened in a different place from where the eclipse happened.”

So for those who are still spreading this, better to stop.
